I am currently pursuing Ph.D. in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur). I am additionally employed as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the department of Computer Science & Engineering at IIT Kharagpur, as part of a project funded by ICAR, New Delhi. In the past, I had worked as a SRF , engaged with both the departments of Computer Science and Engineering as well as Agriculture and Food Engineering (AgFE) at IIT Kharagpur as part of a project sponsored by DeitY and Media Lab Asia.

I finished my M.Tech and B.Tech from West Bengal University of Technology in the years 2012 and 2010, respectively. I have served as an Assistant professor in the department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur (2012-2014); prior to that I had served as a Lecturer in the department of Information Technology at the Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata (2011-2012).

My research interests include, but are not limited to, networked robots, unmanned aerial vehicle swarms and enabling deep learning for these platforms for controls and communications. These solutions are mainly aimed at intelligent and autonomous control and coordination between ground stations and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), as well as, between multiple UAVs in flight.
